Robust software through many years of know-how in embedded software engineering
The quality of devices and embedded systems depends more than ever significantly on the quality of the embedded software used. It is true that today modern graphical tools facilitate the development of embedded software and the networking of embedded devices in the IoT. However, complex, durable and robust embedded software requires profound and long-standing knowledge in embedded software engineering - especially when strict normative requirements for use in medical technology or functional safety are added to the quality aspect.
Since its foundation infoteam has been developing embedded software. Therefore we have decades of experience with:
- a wide variety of hardware components,
- development environments, usually based on C and C++,
- secure software engineering (according to IEC62443)
- all Windows and Linux operating systems, microkernel architectures such as FreeRTOS and real-time systems such as QNX.
We also integrate various fieldbuses and communication protocols into your software - including CAN, CANopen, EtherCAT, PROFIBUS, PROFINET or, especially in the area of functional safety, PROFIsafe, for example. Thus, we realize for your hardware both the complete firmware as well as suitable board support packages and individual embedded applications incl. HMI connection via OPC UA server or web technologies. In addition, we support you with tools for development according to IEC 61131.
