The Supervisory Board of the infoteam Software Group has appointed Andreas Rottmair as Chief Sales Officer (CSO). From March 2024, the 44-year-old will head up sales and marketing for the renowned developer of specific software solutions for customers in the industry, infrastructure, life science and public service markets.
This strategic decision underlines infoteam's goal of paving innovative paths for future growth and bringing infoteam's industry-recognised excellence to the markets more broadly. Together with Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Joachim Strobel, Rottmair will form the two-member Executive Board team of the infoteam Software Group. Born in Ingolstadt, Rottmair brings 15 years of professional experience in the fields of engineering and IT services.

Digital transformation, AI and market dynamics as challenges
The challenges of digital transformation, the use of AI and a rapidly changing market environment within a dynamic economic world will have a significant impact on the infoteam Software Group's customer business in the coming years. Joachim Strobel, CEO of infoteam, comments: "Andreas Rottmair brings with him the necessary expertise and management experience to work with me as Chief Sales Officer to find contemporary answers to these global challenges and also to expand our customer portfolio."
Rottmair joins from leading engineering and IT group
Before Andreas Rottmair joined the infoteam Software Group, he was Division Director at the ALTEN Group. With a degree in engineering, he began his career in 2007 at OSB AG, a leading development service provider, where he was responsible for one of the largest sites. In 2019, he moved to the headquarters in Munich, where he was appointed Chief Strategy Officer. With the merger of OSB AG with the ALTEN Group in 2021, he moved to the position of Division Director at ALTEN. Andreas Rottmair: "Thanks to my many years of experience and my extensive network in the industry and development sector, I am looking forward to helping shape a successful company like the infoteam Software Group. I am highly motivated to become part of the team and to build and expand a trusting working relationship both internally and with our customers." Andreas Rottmair is married and has two children.
