Positive review of analytica 2022

Barely two weeks after analytica 2022 in Munich, Alexander Brendel, Director Life Science at infoteam Software AG, draws an extremely positive conclusion: "After two years of virtual trade fairs, we noticed the pent-up demand for face-to-face meetings just as intensively as the now very concrete ambitions of companies to finally make the networked laboratory a reality."

At analytica, infoteam Software AG had presented its long-standing and in-depth expertise in software development for laboratory equipment and laboratories. This expertise met with particularly strong interest at the world's leading trade fair for analytics and laboratory automation, which goes hand in hand with the advancing digitalization and networking of laboratories, devices and systems, as well as due to increasing normative requirements such as the IVDR or GMP/GAMP5 requirements.

In line with this, infoteam, together with 2mag AG, showed the first LADS-capable laboratory devices worldwide in the form of magnetic stirrers. The LADS communication standard is currently being developed as part of a joint SPECTARIS initiative and is based on OPC UA. Visitors to the trade fair were able to control the magnetic stirrers at the 2mag booth remotely via smartphone or tablet using the standardized LADS interface and read out device data. The underlying software is based on infoteam's own middleware framework zenLAB®, which provides the basis for efficient development of customer-specific laboratory applications and system networking.
