infoteam receives "New Work Star 2020" award in three categories

Special award for innovative work concept in the Nuremberg metropolitan region

Bubenreuth, 26 November 2020

  • Software service provider receives awards in three of three possible categories for future-oriented work (New Work) in the Nuremberg metropolitan region
  • Gold Award for working time models; Gold Award for crisis management during the pandemic; Silver Award for work spaces and work organisation

The infoteam Software Group is present in Nuremberg on 19 November 2020 in three of three predefined categories: working time models, crisis management during the pandemic and working spaces and -organisation was honoured at this year's "New Work Star" Award. The award ceremony of the competition, which is now taking place for the second time, was held virtually this year.

In the categories of working time models and crisis management during the pandemic, infoteam made it to the top spot and received the Gold Award in each category. In the first category, the jury was particularly impressed by the abolition of core working hours and the possibility of individual and flexible organisation of working hours - also with regard to the speed of implementation during the pandemic. infoteam received the second Gold Award for its crisis management in the corona period. The jury found the quick and uncomplicated "hybridisation" of internal and external events and the open communication in relation to Corona to be outstanding. The Silver Seal was presented to the Bubenreuth-based software service provider for its commitment to workspaces and organisation. Here, it was above all the furnishing of the Daddy-Mom-Child-Room and the basic principle of "open doors" that scored points.

The initiator of the award is the "New Work Forum Nürnberg" (represented by Susanne Bohn Leadership Competence, Pro Fachkräfte and New Work Forum), which aims to use the competition and award to create a platform for innovative work concepts in the Nuremberg metropolitan region. Awards are given to companies that are role models for the future and are already setting an outstanding example today in the course of the complex changes in the world of work.

"The multiple award is a great honour for us and at the same time a confirmation of our actions so far. After all, New Work is an integral part of our corporate culture and is set to become even more so in the future. Being awarded gold and silver in three of three possible categories is a great encouragement and motivation for us. However, we would not be infoteam if we were to rest on these laurels. Now we have to firmly anchor initiated projects in the organisation and continue to work on the topics," explains Michael Sperber, CTO of infoteam Software AG.
