Every year, the award goes to the 50 fastest-growing owner-managed SMEs in the Free State of Bavaria, honoring their above-average organic growth – determined by company sales and increase in the number of employees. Joachim Strobel, CEO of infoteam Software Group, received the prize, a porcelain lion statuette, from Minister of State Hubert Aiwanger on 26 July 2022, at the New Schleißheim Palace in Oberschleißheim.

The infoteam Software Group has gained a reputation as a service provider for individual software solutions in Europe and Switzerland and has been working with its customers in a spirit of trust for 40 years. Founded in 1983, the company pursues a sustainable and organic course of growth. Despite the unfavorable conditions caused by the coronavirus pandemic, infoteam easily met its growth and sales targets and also broke new ground – among other things, the company established a branch office in Thessaloniki, Greece, and further expanded its activities in Switzerland.

Hubert Aiwanger, Bavaria's minister of economic affairs, regional development and energy, explained: "Through their innovative spirit, entrepreneurial creativity and future-proof business models, our medium-sized companies are the driving force behind our country's economic success and prosperity." In conclusion, he emphasized, "I am convinced: Only by joining forces can we secure the economic prosperity of our country. Based on our economic policy, we will therefore continue to strengthen our SMEs and empower them for growth, innovation and vibrant entrepreneurship."

"We are very pleased to receive this award, as it is recognition of our forward-looking corporate policy. At the heart of our success are our employees, whose expertise, commitment and spirit make a significant contribution to infoteam's wonderful development. Future-oriented action and social responsibility are the things that make infoteam successful. Our customers appreciate the excellent quality of our solutions as well as their constructive and trusting collaboration with us. This is also why we maintain long-term partnerships with our customers and focus on consistent customer orientation," explains infoteam CEO Joachim Strobel.

Back in 2020, the infoteam Software Group received the "New Work Star Award" twice in gold and once in silver. In 2021, this award was followed by the "Top 100 Innovation Award" and in the spring of the current year by the "TOP Company Award."
