The revived Toolpoint event "After Work Talk" will celebrate its premiere on October 13, 2022, starting at 5 p.m. and will be hosted by infoteam Software AG at Technopark Winterthur. We are dedicating ourselves to one of the most important topics of modern laboratories: Connectivity in the lab - in other words, the intuitive, efficient and consistent networking of data, devices and processes. Sounds like a lot of theory? No way! We have the practical application on site and with us this means: First look, then absolutely touch and talk shop and network at the subsequent aperitif.
At the Toolpoint After Work Talk, you can use a tablet or smartphone to control and read magnetic stirrers located in another country. How does that work? With the new communication standard LADS (based on OPC UA), which has been causing a furor for some time and is well on its way to becoming the upcoming industry standard. And with a middleware called zenLAB®. It adapts to the individual needs of laboratory operators and device manufacturers and channels, controls and automates device functions, laboratory processes and data flows. This makes it possible for the first time to collect and analyze experimental data, operating data (e.g. temperature curves) and environmental data (e.g. weather data) in an economically efficient manner and to use the findings to increase experimental and product quality.
