infoteam offers agile development of functional safe and connected systems

Complexity and connectivity of functional safe systems is rising continuously. Moreover intelligent IoT software solutions as predictive maintenance applications integrate these systems into huge system area networks more and more frequently. This is a challenge especially for IT-Security and Functional Safety.

At the embedded world 2018 infoteam Software AG presents the holistic iFSC concept (infoteam Functional Safety Control Concept) that is pre-certified by components for the development of functional safe IoT systems. It enhances a faster time-to-market with parallel investment reliability and consists among other things of IEC 61508:SIL3 TÜV certified process guideline iFSM (infoteam Functional Safety Management), safe system components as well as FlexiSafe®, an IEC 61131-3 development tool. At once it enables to split complex software development into defined agile single projects in considering of IEC 61508.

For use of functional safe systems within IoT area, this conceptual approach allows the efficient treatment of IT security according to ISO 27034. This is how to realise all security processes for software in an early project phase efficiently.
