Five trainees started their first year of training as IT specialists at the infoteam Software Group at its headquarters in Bubenreuth near Erlangen this week. Four of them are studying application development and one is studying system integration. This means that infoteam currently employs 13 trainees, three women and ten men, including three dual students (combined training and studies).
"Qualified young people from our own training is traditionally an important pillar at infoteam," says training manager Michael Achtzehn. After all, in addition to experienced developers, the company deliberately focuses on young people for a perfect and future-proof team. "The young colleagues enrich us with dynamism, curiosity and knowledge that is open to new technologies. That is why the rate of takeovers is also extraordinarily high. Today, infoteam employees are sometimes computer scientists who were trained in the company 20 years ago. In 2020, four trainees and one retrainee have successfully completed their training (all of them with outstandingly well rated practical projects) - four of them will remain with infoteam in the future.
Secondary school leaving certificate, high school diploma, college dropouts, completed vocational training: The chances on one of the desired training places are various, because "with us everybody is warmly welcome, which argued with the future occupation as can be prove and which is human an enrichment for the multicolored infoteam culture," so Michael Achtzehn. At infoteam the trainees get a taste of a wide range of topics, technologies and projects. Most of the training sections take place under the guidance of experienced experts directly in real customer projects. "C#, C++, Java, railroad engineering, medical technology, data analysis and much more", promises Michael Achtzehn, "our trainees become real all-rounders and at the same time can pursue their own interests and deepen their knowledge of key areas". infoteam wishes the five new trainees a good and successful start.
