From the beginning of 2019, infoteam will be a member of SPECTARIS. The German industry association for optical, medical and mechatronic technologies, based in Berlin, represents more than 400 companies from the life science sector – including mainly medium-sized manufacturers that act as "hidden champions" on the world market, but also well-known companies such as Carl Zeiss and Leica. For infoteam, the trade associations "medical technology" and "analysis, bio and laboratory technology" are particularly relevant, according to Alexander Brendel, Director Lab Automation at infoteam Software AG: “Digitization and automation of device functions and workflows are increasing enormously in the laboratory and in the medical environment.
