TOP 100: Ranga Yogeshwar pays tribute to infoteam
Science journalist congratulates on the award via video
Ranga Yogeshwar congratulated infoteam Software AG on its success in the TOP 100 innovation competition with a personal video. In addition, the science journalist honoured the achievements of this year's TOP 100 companies at a joint online conference. The occasion was the TOP 100 final, which was originally planned as a face-to-face event. Ranga Yogeshwar is mentoring the innovation competition, which is being held for the 28th time. In the scientific selection process, infoteam impressed in the size category C (more than 200 employees) especially in the category "climate of innovation".
The TOP 100 company portrait published on the occasion of the award states (excerpt):
infoteam is a software specialist whose core business includes control, embedded and application software. Helpful, but not the only decisive factor for the company's good climate of innovation, is the fact that employees themselves hold shares in the employee stock corporation. "Rather, the decisive factor is a culture that conveys to the more than 300 employees: It is your company that we are all developing together," says Joachim Strobel, who forms the board team together with Michael Sperber.
Carefully cultivated communication structures promote the climate of innovation. Monday meetings, for example, provide information about the week's events and give one employee at a time the opportunity to put questions to the board. News, such as the "project of the month", is also discussed at round tables, and three times a year the staff is invited to the "OpenSpace": This offers everyone the chance to speak on a topic of their choice. A new achievement is also intended to create space for fresh ideas. "We have programmed an app in which everyone can write suggestions for improvement," says Strobel.
