Successful online premiere: analytica 2020

The laboratory world is more than ever in the focus of attention due to the Corona Virus and is working flat out to digitize work processes. This makes it all the more important to exchange technical information at leading trade fairs such as analytica, which was postponed in April to the end of October 2020 due to lockdown and contact restrictions, and was now finally held as a solely digital trade fair.

The infoteam Software Group was also present to offer its broad expertise in software development for life science. "Presence events thrive on direct exchange, interpersonal moments and a relaxed atmosphere," says Alexander Brendel, Director Life Science at infoteam, and is nevertheless highly satisfied with infoteam’s first online participation at a trade show. Many visitors dared to click on the digital infoteam booth and found personal advice and additional download material. "This enabled us to offer information by means our visitors prefer and to engage them in our topics". This year, in addition to (both non-regulated and standard-compliant) software development for individual solutions, for the first time this included infoteam's own middleware framework zenLAB. It offers a ready-made basis for individual IT platforms in the laboratory environment and is aimed at equipment manufacturers and laboratory operators alike. "Now it is up to us to conduct further constructive discussions wiht the many exciting contacts made at the show," says Alexander Brendel, and adds with a hopeful wink: "Perhaps there will be a chance to meet in person in spring 2021.”
